Personality:
Reserved, laid-back and a bit sarcastic. Loyal and trustworthy to a fault. Caring towards his friends. He's usually a forgiving person unless you've done something to really upset him. He gets distracted easily and doesn't work as hard as he expects himself to.

Around those he dislikes, he tries to be as civil as possible and ignore them completely. In bad situations, he tries to calm himself down and reason things out. He actually has a nasty temper which he bottles up. He tends to swear a lot if angry and if really super pissed, he'll string together a load of vulgarity. If he does lash out, he can exaggerate a lot of stuff but he doesn't mean anything he says, so the next day he'd be apologetic and willing to make things up even if it gets a bit annoying.

When he gets stressed/upset, he will just lie down in his bed listening to extremely dark and depressive music. He may also start drinking, most often beer. He is actually able to keep a lot of liquor down and is by no means a lightweight.

He really hates it when people call him a chink. He used to be called that all the time when he was living in Halifax. If you taunt him repeatedly, be prepared to get your jaw cracked.

History:
Feng was born in Hong Kong to an upper middle-class family, his mother being a baker and his father being the manager of an electric company. When he was about 5, his parents divorced due to an argument which involved racism to say the least. As soon as the papers were filed, he moved to Halifax in England with his British father, who then gave him an entirely new identity to fit in with his new home. His name was now Samuel Lainesthorpe.

Despite his westernization, he never took much interest in Western culture and instead took a fascination with his Chinese heritage. He disliked his father a great deal especially when he was always forced to be acquainted with English customs. He was a total nerd as well, which led to some kids making fun of him for his ethnicity and intelligence. He didn't have many friends and was always extremely quiet, often to the point of scaring others. This led to his father taking him to a counselor after school. It did help him somewhat, but he was still pretty shy. When he entered middle school, he started becoming more rebellious and his grades suffered quite a bit. He also discovered his fascination with rock music. During his high school years, he acquired a part-time job as a cafe waiter and met his first boyfriend Nicholas. Feng became fascinated with his allure and charm.

When he was 19, he left home and dropped out of college to live with him. Nicholas was actually a member of an elite mafia that basically had most of West Yorkshire in its grasp. As a result, Feng became tied up in human trafficking activities and was sold off by the man he thought he loved. He found himself in Russia under the servitude of a mafia leader operating in St. Petersburg. Only too late did Nicholas realize that he actually did love Feng.

Eventually, Feng was able to buy his freedom back with the help of his former lover though they both agreed to go separate ways to avoid causing each other more trouble from now on. Feng moved back to Hong Kong and took up his birth name again, wanting to have a more Asiatic background and also to start a new life. He went to the bakery where she used to work only to find out that she moved to the U.S.

He spent some time living a peaceful life in the suburbs. Because his father always tried to make him as much of an Englishman as possible, Feng never learned much Chinese apart from what he learned from his mother during his early childhood. Being immersed in Hong Kong for about 3 months, however, he became very fluent in speaking it. Nicholas as a surprise continued to send him money every now and then to help out with rent and living expenses, much to Feng's irritation (but he takes his money anyway because he loves moolah). Even though they've moved on and Nicholas is trying to make up for the past, Feng can never really forget what he did.

One day, he heard about Lunau Peccati from a group of people in the cafe he worked in and he decided to join in order to find some solace from the events that happened to him.

Additional Information:
-his birthday is April 28.

-after going back to Hong Kong, he decided to learn some martial arts so he could better defend himself if the need ever arises.
-goes to the gym 3-4 days a week to work mostly on his running. He's a pretty fast sprinter.
-time is a very important subject to him. He can get all philosophical about how important time is and how people shouldn't waste it.
-he still longs to see his mother again after all these years.
-has heterochromia (right eye is dark brown, left eye is pale blue); used to be self-conscious about his blue eye but now he doesn't mind it
-his accent is a mix of British and Chinese, though tending to lean more towards the latter having lived in Halifax for most of his life
-knows English, enough Cantonese to start fairly complex conversations and a bit of Chinese. Still learning how to write Chinese. He can write several basic sentences. (If you didn't know, Chinese and Cantonese are written the same way but spoken differently.)
-he's very fond of music, though he has never tried any kind of instrument before
-he's considered starting over at community college but doesn't know what he wants to major in, though he has a strong leaning towards art and science
